1ST PLACE IN DISNEY/PIXAR "WHAT SPARKS YOUR SOUL?" CHALLENGE
March 15, 2021
This award is very close to my heart, as the film I created for this challenge was a personal documentary about my passion in life — creativity. This particular challenge, run by Campus Movie Fest and sponsored by Disney and Pixar, required the submission of a documentary-style film that told the story of what "sparks our souls." This prompt was inspired by the release of Pixar's "Soul" on Disney+. My film was called "CREATE" and can be found in the Short Films tab above.

DISNEY WOMEN IN FILM CATEGORY FINALIST
June 2020
This honor meant the world to receive. The "Disney Women in Film" category of Campus Movie Fest strives to empower female filmmakers by giving them a platform to tell their stories. I was grateful to be honored with an incredibly talented group of young women and was granted the opportunity to speak with female professionals at Disney and Pixar through a zoom call over the quarantine period. This honor was granted for my film "Drinkismly Yours" which can be found in the Short Films tab above.

OFFICIAL SELECTION TO SHORT FILM CORNER OFÂ CANNES FILM FESTIVAL
November 2019
I was so humbled to receive this honor for my documentary, "Drinkismly Yours" in the fall of 2019. Through Campus Movie Fest, a nationwide college filmmaking experience, I was granted the opportunity to attend the 2020 Cannes Film Festival and have my film screened in the Short Film Corner. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, I was unable to attend but hope to be a part of the event sometime in the future. "Drinkismly Yours" is a special story and can be found in the Short Films tab above.
